Are intense emotions, relationship challenges, or unhealthy coping patterns getting in the way of living the life you want?

Family Service Rochester's Comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program is currently accepting new participants for both adult and adolescent groups. DBT is an evidence-based treatment that teaches practical skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness to help individuals build a life worth living.

Our comprehensive DBT program includes:

  • Weekly individual therapy
  • Weekly DBT skills group
  • Phone coaching support as needed
  • A collaborative team of DBT-trained therapists dedicated to your success

Adult Program: A year-long program designed to create lasting change through skill building and practice. Group meets Tuesdays from 9:00–11:30 a.m.

Adolescent Program: A six-month program for teens and their caregivers, combining individual therapy with family-supported skills development. Group meets Wednesdays from 4:30–6:30 p.m. and includes both the adolescent and caregiver.

Cost

Access to care matters. We accept major insurance providers and offer sliding fee scale options to help make services affordable for individuals and families.
