Welcome Our New Director of Aging Services

Thomas Hayden, MM, MPH joins us from LiveWell (formerly Alzheimer's Resource Center of CT) where he served as Director of Community Services overseeing their Adult Day Center, Memory Café, Cognitive Fitness, My Music for Life, and Opening Minds through Art. Thomas is a Board Certified Music Therapist. Last year he received a Masters in Public Health from Yale University.

Thomas will lead the professional staff and volunteers of Aging Services (formerly Senior Independence) in our work with older adults, persons with disabilities, and their caregivers to assist them in living safely in the homes and neighborhoods they love. These services include Caregiver Support and Respite Care, Chore Services, Meals on Wheels, Senior Café, Home Safety Checks, and Older Adult Mental Health.
