Volunteer Spotlight: Don Leisen
After retiring from a 43-year career at Mayo Clinic, Don Leisen continues to stay active and involved in the community. He is married and has two sons and one daughter. In his free time, Don enjoys traveling, landscaping, golfing, and cheering for Minnesota sports teams. He has also spent the past three years serving as a high school football official and recently officiated girls' flag football this spring.
Don volunteers at Family Service Rochester because he believes in giving back to the community. Through Meals on Wheels, he enjoys helping provide hot meals to individuals who are always grateful for the support and connection. His volunteer experiences have shown him there are many meaningful ways people can make a difference in the lives of others and strengthen the community around them.
