Link BRT/Kutzsky Park Walk & Roll Audit
Join us in two upcoming Walk & Roll Audits to help inform planning for various LINK BRT transit stops and development along portions 1st Street SW in the Kutzsky Park neighborhood. These audits will bring together community members of all ages and abilities to assess walking and rolling conditions and share on-the-ground perspectives on the walkability and accessibility of these routes. And our first winter season audit!
This Walk and Roll Audit is being conducted by the Destination Medical Center Economic Development Agency with technical assistance from Age Friendly Olmsted County and support from the City of Rochester, and the Kutzky Park Neighborhood Association.
Audit dates and times:
- Saturday, February 28 | 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Saturday, April 18 | 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Additional details, including meeting locations, routes, and what to expect, will be provided after registration.
If you’re interested in participating, you can register for either or both audits using the link below:

Your observations will be compiled into a summary report shared with project partners, including the City of Rochester. The City has committed to reviewing the findings and considering how they align with existing projects, maintenance responsibilities, policies, and the City’s adopted Capital Improvement Plan. While participation does not guarantee immediate changes or new funding, your feedback helps identify near-term opportunities (such as pilots or quick-build improvements where feasible) and informs longer-term planning and future project development.
We appreciate your time and insights and look forward to walking and rolling with you.
