April is Volunteer Appreciation Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the incredible individuals who give their time, energy, and compassion to make a difference in our community. At Family Service Rochester, our volunteers are the heartbeat of everything we do, providing essential support that strengthens families, uplifts seniors, and fosters meaningful connections across generations.

We have so much to be thankful for, as volunteers assist with Delivering Meals on Wheels, providing transportation, doing group seasonal yard work projects, serving on event committees and serving on our board of directors, —our volunteers truly make an impact. We could not provide the programs we do, at the cost we do, without the support of hundreds of dedicated volunteers each year.

Each act of kindness—whether big or small—creates a ripple effect of positivity. To our volunteers: Thank you for your generosity, your passion, and your unwavering commitment to helping others. Your time and effort bring hope, joy, and support to those who need it most.
