This year marks an extraordinary milestone for Family Service Rochester—we are celebrating 60 years of solutions, impact, and community. Since 1965, our organization has grown from a small team with a big dream into a trusted community partner serving thousands across southeastern Minnesota with more than 30 programs supporting mental health, child well-being, family stability, and aging services.

Our Diamond Jubilee is more than just an anniversary—it’s a celebration of the community, people, partnerships, and stories that have shaped us. It’s also an opportunity to look forward, ensuring that we will be here for generations to come.

Why This Celebration Matters

Over the past six decades, Family Service Rochester has walked alongside individuals and families during some of life’s most challenging moments. We’ve seen firsthand how community support changes lives—from a senior who can remain independent thanks to Meals on Wheels, to a parent who finds strength and resources at the Family Resource Center, to an individual who feels safe and supported because of the mental health therapy they’ve received.

This history is worth honoring—but it’s also a powerful reminder of the responsibility we carry to build for the future. The needs in our community continue to grow and change, and we must be ready to meet them with compassion, innovation, and stability.
