Volunteer Spotlight: Teresa Czaplewski
Rochester native Teresa Czaplewski keeps busy running four funeral homes in Rochester, Kasson, Dodge Center, and Hayfield. When not working, you might find Teresa spending time with her husband Paul and blended family of four children and a beautiful grandson, boating on the Mississippi, or snow birding down south during winter in Minnesota.
Teresa proudly joined the Family Service Rochester Board of Directors in 2019. “Being a Rochester native, I was confident I knew the mission of FSR and its diverse quality programming. Wow, was I naïve! After my first Board meeting, I sat in awe of the many different programs that I was unaware of that FSR spearheaded and maintained. FSR has an amazing hand on the pulse of our community’s needs and embraces every opportunity to meet the ever changing challenges that face families and children in our area” Teresa said.
She went on to say, “As a volunteer, regardless of my role, I love to see the community impact. Making a difference, be it big or small. Every volunteer experience I have ever had, has taught me more than I can ever measure! My heart is full and I am so blessed to have the opportunity to be part of the FSR Family.”
