Volunteer Spotlight: Tony Aipperspach
Tony Aipperspach is retired and loves spending time with his wife, their four children, and their six grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys camping, gardening, fishing, and watching three of his grandchildren twice a week. Both he and his wife are actively involved in their church, where their faith is a central part of their lives. Tony also volunteers with our Neighbors Helping Neighbors service in the Rochester community.
When asked why he volunteers, Tony simply said, "I just want to help out." During his time volunteering, he has come to realize just how many people in the Rochester area need help with everyday tasks like getting rides to the doctor or hauling items. "I am truly amazed at how much neighborly help is needed," he shared.
Tony says every individual he has been involved with is unique. "I realized there must be hundreds of people in Rochester who need help, and it gives me an appreciation for how Family Service Rochester is stepping in to meet those needs."
Tony’s kindness and dedication have made a real difference in the lives of others. We are incredibly grateful for his service. Thank you, Tony, for all you do for our community!
