Position exists to coordinate and oversee daily operations of the Incidental Command Center services to ensure delivery of the program's services in an effective and efficient manner and ensures that services are provided in harmony with stated program goals, objectives and outcomes.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Manage and complete assigned activities that include scheduling agency pickups, accurate files/record keeping, compiling program data for reports, and computer database entry to ensure the delivery of services and the record of services provided are documented within established deadlines.
2.Train, support, and schedule staff/volunteers to prepare them to perform order fulfillment and delivery activities in harmony with program goals and objectives.
3. Provide information and referrals when needed for community partners.
4.Sort, inventory, purchase, needed supplies.
5.Process agency orders for pickup and/or delivery.
Other duties and responsibilities:
1.Attend team meetings as scheduled or directed.
2.Communicate and consult with supervisor to ensure the provision of neutral and strength-based services.
3.Other activities as directed by supervisor.
Supervisory responsibility: None
Training and Experience: Bachelor's degree in social work or related human service degree is desired. Desire previous relevant experience working in human services.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Speak, read and write in English. Perform mathematical calculations.
•Possess computer literacy including operation of basic Microsoft Excel software.
•Ability to interact positively with diverse populations, maintain consumer confidentiality and act in a professional, respectful manner.
•Ability to work within a team environment and effectively communicate with colleagues, co-workers and community agencies.
Special Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation to use for work purposes. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Willingness and ability to work additional time if needed to meet crises and deadlines.
Must be able to regularly talk, hear, sit, and perform keystrokes to enter data entry with reasonable speed to ensure work is completed. Requires physical ability to routinely lift large boxes and packages weighing up to 25 pounds as well as normal office materials and tools including frequently filing, lifting and reaching; ability to move throughout office and center facility.
Regular exposure to normal office environments, supplies and office machines. Occasional exposure to outside weather that includes high or low temperatures, light snow, etc. Ability to drive in inclement weather.
