For over fifty years, Family Service Rochester has been providing mental health, senior independence, family stability, and child well-being services in southeast Minnesota. We listen to what people need and together, we build better lives. Your donation helps us continue to do so.
We are so grateful for your support. The first gifts to our organization when we began 50 years ago are still making an impact today. Your financial gift will continue to have positive effects for those we support and in our community far into the future! You have as many ways to give as there are reasons. Automatic Withdrawals and Recurring Giving
You can make a recurring gift to Family Service Rochester without having to write and mail checks. Recurring gifts offer a simple and convenient way to make regular monthly contributions to FSR that are posted to your credit card or bank account. Rather than a big lump sum, your generosity is spread out as you decide: Monthly, Quarterly (every 3 months); Semi-annually (every 6 months) or Yearly (once a year).
By giving online or through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), you eliminate costs for return envelopes and postage, so an even greater portion of your gift goes toward supporting our mission.
You also may find you are able to give a more significant gift because your donation is divided into manageable monthly increments.
Automatic giving is secure and convenient.  Your monthly credit card or bank statement will clearly show how you have given, and your annual donations will be easy to track for tax purposes.  You may change your pledge or quit at any time.  You also might be able to take advantage of earning bonuses like Frequent Flier Miles through your credit card.
If you wish to set up EFT through your checking or savings account, please provide us with your bank name, routing number, and account number (as in a voided check). Then tell us how much you'd like to contribute monthly to Family Service Rochester. We'll arrange for the transfer of funds each month.

Donor Advised Funds
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a type of charitable investment account that provides an immediate tax benefit to you, and allows you to recommend grants to charities of your choice over time. DAF is simple and easy. You can recommend a gift today, or on a recurring basis (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually).
Planned Giving
A planned gift involves a donation to a charity in a process that maximizes tax and other financial benefits.  This might include an annuity that continues to pay you dividends during your lifetime or it could be a bequest from your estate.

Employer Matching
Employer matching encourages giving and greatly increases its impact. In the face of our current global crisis, many corporations are increasing matching gifts programs to benefit communities. You may be able to double or even triple your donation. 
In-Kind Gifts
You can play a role in connecting people with purpose in many ways besides making a cash donation to Family Service Rochester .
There are many creative ways to turn your in-kind gifts into support for services and tax benefits for you. In-kind gifts might include: baby items and clothes, special events auction items, etc.
