Family Involvement Strategies’ (FIS) primary focus is to engage extended families and support systems in building child safety and well-being plans through the preparation, coordination and facilitation of family meetings, in collaboration with the county child welfare and juvenile corrections agencies.

Position exists to support the efficient operations of the Meals on Wheels (MOW) and Neighbors Helping Neighbors (NHN) program in a team setting.

Responsible for providing coordination of the MOW program and coordination and assistance with aspects of NHN program. Duties include completing daily tasks and ensuring ongoing operation and delivery of MOW program, scheduling and matching volunteers and responding to consumer and volunteer concerns.

Help Family Service Rochester lead the way in volunteerism! Design an efficient, meaningful, and rewarding volunteer program that helps older adults and persons with disabilities live independently. Streamline and standardize volunteer registration, orientation, project matching and task reporting process: design volunteer training and recruitment materials; build dynamic community relationships for FSR; create on-line tools and toolkits; mobilize volunteers and community groups to help older adults age in place; train staff and skilled volunteers on new standardized processes and e-tools. Imagine new methods of attracting volunteers.
