Family Advocacy in Recovery and Restoration (FARR)

Seeking a part-time master's level therapist to provide clinical services in the school and home settings in the Goodhue County area. This position will focus on providing trauma-informed developmentally-appropriate therapeutic interventions with children in the school setting. Candidates must be post master's degree pursuing licensure or possess a valid clinical license in Minnesota (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, LP), have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, have training/education in individual and family therapy, and have excellent verbal, written, and computer skills. Experience with diagnostic assessments, training in DC:0-5, and experience working with children in school settings is preferred.

Outpatient Therapist - Full-Time

Family Service Rochester is seeking a full-time master's level therapist to add to our outpatient team. A therapist at FSR can expect working in a team atmosphere with a high level of support and consultation. Therapists at FSR are provided with opportunities for professional development and specialized training in evidenced based practices. Our therapists have the opportunity to practice across the lifespan, providing a wide range clinic services including group, couple's, family and individual therapy in an outpatient setting.
An ideal candidate would have an enthusiastic desire to be a team member on our state certified comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy program and would provide DBT therapy that strongly adheres to model fidelity. An ideal candidate would also hold a strong foundation in trauma informed practice and experience working with diverse populations.
Candidates must have completed, or are on track for LICSW, LPCC, or LMFT licensure in the State of Minnesota. LICSW, LPCC and LMFT licensure supervision is provided to our therapists at no additional cost.

PT Flexible Days, working in Rochester, Owatonna or Blooming Prairie. General house cleaning: dusting, vacuuming, kitchens/bathrooms, mopping floors, and laundry, shopping. Perform home cleaning and maintenance tasks that enable consumer to remain living safely in their own home, and to support consumer's ability to maintain independence and assist in preventing or delaying a move to a more restricted living arrangement. Meadow Park Tutor

Part-Time TEMP

Provide tutor and coaching with K-12 students regarding school work (reading, math, history, English etc.) and other enrichment learning activities. This 21st Learning site meets MN Dept of Ed. COVID safety requirements of working in small family pods of 4 to 8 students, 2-3 days a week with assigned families. Experience or desire to work with youth. Preferred: teaching experience, high school or college graduate. Skilled in one or more of the follow areas: math, English reading and writing, Algebra, Geometry. Fluent in Spanish and/or Somali and English. Intermediate to advanced computer skills. Ability to work in a team setting and use creativity and take initiative.

Temporary position estimated to last Jan-Aug 2021, working 8-15 hours/week. Starting wage of $14 per hour.

Parent Partner

Are you a good listener who knows a lot about community resources? Do you aspire to use your lived experiences to support others? Are you passionate about keeping families together? Then you would be a great fit for our new Parent Partner position!

This position exists to provide mentorship and support through shared lived experiences (i.e. addiction) to parents involved in the Child Protective Services (CPS) system. Parent partners promote change within the system of traditional CPS by celebrating parents on their path towards change, recovery, and accountability by offering hope, advice, and advocacy.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to share personal recovery and CPS experiences to develop authentic peer-to-peer relationships with parents currently navigating the CPS system, while their children are placed in foster or kinship care. Candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma/GED, valid driver's license and strong verbal/written communication, and computer skills.
