Provide child protective assessment and case management services to families where children have been in sight or sound of domestic violence. Ideal candidates will possess experience and knowledge in the field of domestic violence, excellent communication and listening skills, knowledge of community resources, and the ability to work with families of various backgrounds. Experience in child protection directly working with diverse populations and possessing bi-lingual skills highly desirable. A MN Social Work license or license eligibility is required with relevant experience working with families.

Family Service Rochester is seeking a part-time therapist to provide counseling for families from diverse backgrounds and cultures in their homes. Must be knowledgeable in the areas of family systems as well as children, adolescent and family issues. Masters in social work, psychology or a related field and on track for clinical licensure required. Ability to speak Spanish or another language a plus. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to client's homes and flexibility to work hours, including evenings and some weekends that meet client needs.

Children's Skills Worker

Part-Time

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of children? Are you looking to work for an employee friendly agency with flexible hours? Family Service Rochester is seeking a part-time position to provide skills based training to youth, families, &/or groups within Children’s Therapeutic Support Services (CTSS). These services are designed to support a child in learning skills needed to improve their daily functioning and are provided in homes or the community. Typical hours are non-traditional, including some evenings. Position requires a bachelor’s degree in social work (or related field) and 2000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services to youth, OR a master’s degree in social work (or related field). Must possess effective communication skills with clients and colleagues, computer literacy, a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, acceptable driving record based on agency driver’s eligibility requirements, acceptable criminal background check based on agency and Department of Human Services guidelines. Ability to speak Spanish or another language a plus.

School Linked Mental Health Therapist

Full-Time

Seeking a full-time master’s level therapist to provide mental health services within the Byron, MN school district. Therapist provides clinical services in the school setting/home and bridge the gap between school and home life. This position will focus on providing trauma informed developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions with children in the elementary school setting. This is a grant funded position through the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Preferred Skills: Bilingual, experience working with children, & within school settings, trained in providing DC:0-5 assessments.

Requirements: Qualified applicants MUST be post master’s degree (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field) pursuing licensure or possess a valid clinical license in Minnesota (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, LP). Training/education in individual, marital and family therapy, diagnostic assessments and knowledge of the family-based service concept a plus. Must have reliable transportation, and a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record based on agency driver eligibility requirements, acceptable criminal background check based on agency and Department of Human Services guidelines.
