Family Involvement Strategies Coordinator/Facilitator

As a family involvement strategies coordinator/facilitator you will provide direct service to families specific to the preparation, coordination and facilitation of Family Involvement Strategies. Primary focus is to engage extended families and support systems in building child safety and well-being plans in collaboration with county child welfare and juvenile corrections in Southeastern MN. Position requires a MN Social Work license or license eligibility. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication, listening, computer and organizational skills, knowledge of human services and family systems and experience in the area of conflict resolution. Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT)

Provide child protection assessment and case management services to families where children have been within sight or sound of domestic violence. Ideal candidates will possess experience and knowledge in the field of domestic violence, as well as exhibit excellent communication skills, knowledge of community resources, and the ability to work with families of various backgrounds. Experience in child protection, directly working with diverse populations and possessing bi-lingual skills highly desirable. Early Childhood Mental Health Therapist

Part-Time

This is a unique opportunity to work with children 5 years of age and under, along with their families, in collaborative programs to support school readiness, improve family stability, and decrease mental health symptoms. Seeking a part-time master's level therapist possessing LICSW, LP, LPCC, or LMFT, or on track for clinical licensure, to provide clinical services in community based settings. Candidate must have knowledge of early childhood development, family systems, be DC: 0-5 trained, or a plan to, and flexibility with hours. Trauma Focused trained along with an understanding of Head Start programming is highly preferred. This position will provide individual, family, and group work. Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills a must.

Household Helper

Part-Time

PT Flexible Days, working in Rochester, Owatonna or Blooming Prairie. General house cleaning: dusting, vacuuming, kitchens/bathrooms, mopping floors, and laundry, shopping. Perform home cleaning and maintenance tasks that enable consumer to remain living safely in their own home, and to support consumer's ability to maintain independence and assist in preventing or delaying a move to a more restricted living arrangement. Must possess physical ability and stamina to adequately perform assigned tasks in up to three different homes per day as assigned. Must have a valid driver's license or dependable transportation to use for work purposes to travel to and from consumer's homes within established schedule.

Meadow Park Tutor

Part-Time TEMP

Provide tutor and coaching with K-12 students regarding school work (reading, math, history, English etc.) and other enrichment learning activities. This 21st Learning site meets MN Dept of Ed. COVID safety requirements of working in small family pods of 4 to 8 students, 2-3 days a week with assigned families. Experience or desire to work with youth. Preferred: teaching experience, high school or college graduate. Skilled in one or more of the follow areas: math, English reading and writing, Algebra, Geometry. Fluent in Spanish and/or Somali and English. Intermediate to advanced computer skills. Ability to work in a team setting and use creativity and take initiative.

Temporary position estimated to last Jan-Aug 2021, working 8-15 hours/week. Starting wage of $14 per hour.
