Must be knowledgeable in the areas of family systems and children, adolescent and family issues. Ability to speak Spanish or another language, along with experience working with school systems a plus. Masters in social work, psychology or a related field and on track for clinical licensure in the State of Minnesota required. LICSW, LPCC, LMFT preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to client's homes and flexibility to work hours, including evenings and some weekends that meet client needs.

School Linked Mental Health Therapist

Full-Time or Part-Time

Seeking one full-time or two part-time master’s level therapist(s) to provide mental health services within the Kenyon/Wanamingo, MN (.5 elementary school) and/or Cannon Falls, MN (.5 middle/high school) districts. Therapist(s) provides clinical services in the school/home settings & bridge the gap between school and home life. This position will focus on providing trauma informed developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions with children of various ages. This is, in part, a grant-funded position through the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Preferred Skills: Bilingual, experience working with children, & within school settings, trained in providing DC: 0-5 assessments, &/or Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Requirements: Qualified applicants MUST be post master’s degree (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field) pursuing licensure or possess a valid clinical license in Minnesota (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, LP). Training/education in individual, marital and family therapy, diagnostic assessments and knowledge of the family-based service concept a plus.

Children's Skills Worker

Part-Time

Family Service Rochester is seeking a part-time position to provide skills based training to youth, families, &/or groups within Children’s Therapeutic Support Services (CTSS). These services are designed to support a child in learning skills needed to improve their daily functioning and are provided in homes or the community. Typical hours are non-traditional, including some evenings. Position requires a bachelor’s degree in social work (or related field) and 2000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services to youth, OR a master’s degree in social work (or related field). Must possess effective communication skills with clients and colleagues, computer literacy, a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, acceptable driving record based on agency driver’s eligibility requirements, acceptable criminal background check based on agency and Department of Human Services guidelines. Ability to speak Spanish or another language a plus.
